Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Salden. These terms govern your access to and use of the Salden payroll protocol and application.
By accessing or using Salden ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Salden is provided for use on Arc Testnet and is currently in a testnet phase. Use on mainnet is not currently supported.
Salden is an Onchain payroll protocol that allows employers to batch-pay employees using USDC and other ERC-20 tokens on the Arc Testnet blockchain. The Service includes smart contracts, a web application, an AI Payroll Agent powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash, and supporting infrastructure.
Salden currently operates exclusively on Arc Testnet. Testnet tokens have no monetary value. Smart contracts deployed on testnet may be reset or become unavailable without notice. Do not use real funds or sensitive production data with this testnet deployment.
You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and wallet credentials. Salden never has access to your private keys. Loss of your private key means permanent loss of access to your Onchain data and assets. We cannot recover lost keys or reverse blockchain transactions.
Smart contracts are software and may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. Salden contracts have been designed carefully, but no warranty is made regarding their security or correctness. You use the Service at your own risk. Salden is not liable for losses resulting from smart contract exploits, network issues, or bugs.
The AI Payroll Agent is a Premium feature powered by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash. The Agent can execute Onchain transactions on your behalf only via a Circle developer-controlled wallet that you explicitly authorise. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any actions the Agent proposes before authorising it on your payroll contract. Salden is not liable for losses resulting from Agent actions you authorised.
You may not use Salden to: (a) make payments to sanctioned individuals or entities on OFAC or other watchlists; (b) launder money or engage in any illegal financial activity; (c) circumvent any applicable laws or regulations; (d) attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the smart contracts or platform; (e) impersonate any person or entity.
The Free plan is provided at no cost. The Premium plan requires a one-time payment of $10 USDC, which is collected by the SaldenMultiTokenPayrollFactory smart contract at the time of deployment. This fee is non-refundable once the payroll contract clone has been deployed. Network gas fees are the responsibility of the user.
The Salden name, logo, application code, and documentation are the intellectual property of the Salden team. Smart contract code may be open-source — check the repository for applicable licences.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salden and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, or business interruption.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the application interface. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration.
